Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mandingo McMaggara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Siale Veainu! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from McMaggara. It seemed like Veainu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. McMaggara shoots in but Veainu avoids the takedown attempt easily. Veainu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. McMaggara shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Veainu but Veainu pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mandingo McMaggara. That's going to take a lot out of him. McMaggara looking to score a takedown here. Veainu is defending well but McMaggara drives through and ends up in Veainu's guard. Veainu has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. McMaggara is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. McMaggara can't get the takedown.

Askrew slips a jab from Ruiha. Tama Ruiha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Askrew staying out of range there. Askrew with the counter takedown but Ruiha avoids it easily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vinogradov takes a swing at Saigon's ribcage but misses. Saigon went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Saigon digs a good hook to Vinogradov's body.
Saigon loads up on a big right hand but Vinogradov slips the punch. Saigon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vinogradov circles away quickly and effectively. Vinogradov throws out a loose jab but Saigon uses good head movement to avoid it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hand moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Xan looks to land a right hand but Hand moved out of range. It looked like Hand wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Xan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hand sees it coming and avoids it easily. Xan connects with a crisp jab. Xan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A telegraphed right hand from Xan misses the target. Hand swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. The fighters circling - Xan throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hand clinches with his opponent.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hand with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Xan to score with a decent uppercut. Xan takes a swing at Hand's ribcage but misses. Diamond Hand is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Xan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Xan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hand looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Xan throws a right and a left that both miss. Xan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hand's hands. Xan throws a lazy uppercut
and Hand counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Xan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hand pushes Xan off and gets back to his feet.
