Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 5566 p4p, 5648 weight class) and Billy Bob Cooter (ranked 88 p4p, 91 weight class). Creed has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Billy Bob Cooter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Apollo Creed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Billy Bob Cooter! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ron Honeybunn and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Cooter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Creed is looking to get back to his feet here but Cooter is keeping cool and he's managed to take Creed's back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Cooter trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Creed doesn't escape. Creed is breathing heavily. Creed is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Creed knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cooter on the ground. Creed has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Cooter.
That's one minute gone in the round. What can Creed do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Generic Jobber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dominick Yonic! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ben Watson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jobber tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yonic paws at him with a jab and circles away. A little jabbing left from Yonic on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Jobber moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Yonic lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jobber is looking to clinch but Yonic is avoiding it.
Yonic doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Yonic looks winded! Jobber dives in for a single leg takedown but Yonic sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Yonic prevents the takedown attempt.
Jobber really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Yonic working aggressively here.
Jobber lands with a right to the head. Jobber lands with a short head shot on the inside. Jobber pushes Yonic back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jobber is trying to pull guard but Yonic turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Generic Jobber. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yonic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jobber throws a sloppy head kick and Yonic moves out of range easily. Jobber gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Yonic counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yonic swats away the attempt to clinch by Jobber. Jobber misses with a takedown and Yonic counters with a nice leg kick. Yonic throws a low kick, looking for Jobber's leg but Jobber calmly moves out of range. Yonic displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jobber. A little jabbing left from Yonic on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Jobber ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jobber shoots in for a takedown but Yonic shows good takedown defense. Jobber scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jobber fails with the takedown. Jobber shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yonic as he jumps to the side. No luck for Jobber with that takedown attempt. Yonic keeps the fight on the outside. Yonic looks like he wants to counter punch here. Jobber lands with a hook. Yonic tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Jobber tries to clinch but Yonic is having none of it. Jobber misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yonic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jobber. Jobber uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yonic. A swing and a miss from Yonic. Jobber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yonic. Yonic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yonic wants it to stay on the feet. Jobber lands a two punch combo.
Jobber shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yonic as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jobber takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Jobber goes for a double leg but Yonic avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Yonic continues to drive forward. Yonic throws out a counter right but Jobber avoids it with no problem. Yonic swings wildly with an uppercut but Jobber uses good head movement to avoid it. Yonic goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A head punch on the inside from Yonic fails to land. Yonic lands a body punch in the clinch. Jobber drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Yonic keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jobber's efforts to push away. Yonic is trying to break free. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dominick Yonic dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Jobber tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yonic swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jobber shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yonic as he avoids it easily. A little jabbing left from Yonic on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Yonic checks a leg kick nicely. Yonic has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jobber closes the distance and clinches. Yonic prevents Jobber from breaking the clinch. Jobber blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Jobber pulls guard. Jobber keeping full guard, as Yonic tries to pass. Yonic has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Foundry. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yonic is still trying to improve position. Jobber is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Yonic is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jobber is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jobber missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jobber looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Yonic tries to roll over but Jobber keeps him under control. Jobber is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Yonic has managed to free his arm - good work. Jobber thows a huge punch but Yonic dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jobber is keen to just control but Yonic is a slippery customer. Jobber looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Jobber seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jobber wants to clinch. Yonic only half commits to the counter leg kick. Yonic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yonic slaps away a takedown attempt from Jobber, before circling back to the center of the mat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yonic swats away the attempt to clinch by Jobber. It seemed like Yonic was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Generic Jobber dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! A slow jab from Yonic misses its intended target. Jobber shoots in for a double leg but Yonic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jobber tries to clinch up but Yonic circles away and keeps his distance. Yonic raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Yonic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jobber. Yonic keeps the fight on the outside. Jobber tries to clinch but Yonic is having none of it. Generic Jobber is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jobber scores with a jab to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown attempt by Jobber or perhaps it was just good defense by Yonic, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Generic Jobber. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yonic takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jobber rushes Yonic and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jobber jumps guard but Yonic stands there with Jobber around his waist. Jobber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Yonic tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Yonic can't find room to land a body shot as Jobber controls the action.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Yonic. Jobber lands with a short head shot on the inside. Jobber is looking for a takedown. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Yonic in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Jobber blocks an uppercut.
Yonic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yonic stuffs the takedown. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Yonic! But no joy. Jobber goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Jobber shoots in but Yonic avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jobber fails with a takedown attempt. Jobber moves in looking to clinch but Yonic pushes him off. Yonic tries to land a front kick but Jobber steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jobber.

Jobber wants to clinch. Jobber gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Yonic tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jobber's elbow. A short right from Yonic on the inside.

Yonic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jobber is defended easily by Yonic. Jobber tries to clinch up. It seemed like Yonic was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Jobber throws a sloppy head kick and Yonic moves out of range easily. Yonic swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Jobber tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yonic paws at him with a jab and circles away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yonic looks to land a right hand but Jobber moved out of range. Jobber shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Yonic counters with a head kick. That will keep Jobber thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
And that's the end of the fight! Dominick Yonic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Yonic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gatsby dives in and scores a takedown into Fedor's guard. Fedor wants to get back to his feet but Gatsby passes into half guard.
Fedor on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fedor tries to get out of the position. Gatsby slips a nice elbow through Fedor's hands, connecting with Fedor's forehead. Gatsby throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gatsby missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gatsby scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Gatsby is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Gatsby wants to work for an arm triangle but Fedor is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ground and pound from Gatsby. Gatsby is nestled in close to Fedor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Fedor trying to control from the bottom.

Fedor could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gatsby lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Fedor quite badly. Fedor pulls Gatsby in close trying to recover. Gatsby postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Fedor on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Fedor doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Gatsby! During a confident post fight interview, Jay Gatsby thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. The defeated Emelianenko Fedor had this to say: 'This was gods will'.

Theato lands a nice looking body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sepultra gets tackled into the cage by Theato. Theato maintains the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Theato lands a shot to the body. Sepultra is still on wobbly legs! Reem staying out of range there. Reem wants to counter the offense by Jones and move into the clinch position. Jake Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reem lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Reem walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Jones rushes Reem and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Reem connects with a knee to the head.
Reem lands a good knee to the midsection. Jones won't want to take too many of those. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
