We've been hearing good reports from Frederick's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Chavaski has his feet on Frederick's thighs here. He's pushed Frederick off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Frederick screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

After the fight, Remi Chavaski was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Rinda shoots in looking for a takedown but Joe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rinda's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Joe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Joe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Rinda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
