Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marko Kerr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jorlan Vieira! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr slips a jab from Vieira. Vieira slips a straight right by Kerr. Kerr closes the distance and clinches up with Vieira, looking for a takedown. Kerr pushes Vieira against the cage but Vieira circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kerr looks for a takedown but Vieira sprawls well. The crowd cheers as Kerr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vieira doesn't seem phased though. Vieira ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Vieira looks like he wants to counter punch here. Vieira throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kerr fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marko Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vieira throws the left hand but Kerr avoids the punch easily. Kerr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kerr showed some decent athleticism there. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vieira looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Vieira looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kerr is taking a breather. Vieira says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kerr seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Vieira for as long as he can get away with. Kerr working Vieira over with strikes. Nice strikes from Kerr there. Kerr perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Kerr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kerr winds up and cracks Vieira with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Vieira wants to improve his position but Kerr is controlling well.
Vieira looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kerr wants to pass to mount but Vieira is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerr is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vieira can do anything to dispel that myth. Vieira looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kerr working over Vieira with some ground and pound. Vieira looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kerr slips a nice elbow through Vieira's hands, connecting with Vieira's forehead. Vieira is trying to get back to full guard. Kerr seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Kerr seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Vieira on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerr working over Vieira with some ground and pound. Vieira looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Vieira tries to roll over but Kerr keeps him under control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kerr seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Kerr looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Vieira wants to control but Kerr is keeping busy.
Kerr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vieira does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vieira makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Vieira. Kerr lands a couple of digs. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kerr's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kerr lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Kerr working some strikes from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kerr chips away with some ground and pound. Vieira is looking to sweep but instead, Kerr has passed into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kerr lands a nice short elbow. Kerr creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Vieira is out cold and this one is all over! Kerr climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.

With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Amaru Kawiwasulu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rashid Elkhan! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elkhan throws a jab but it's blocked by Kawiwasulu. Kawiwasulu misses with a lunging right hand
and Elkhan counters with a nice uppercut. Kawiwasulu moves away from the strike by Elkhan. We've been informed that Elkhan has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Elkhan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kawiwasulu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Elkhan lands a body shot.
Elkhan works the jab nicely. Kawiwasulu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kawiwasulu throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Elkhan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kawiwasulu is breathing heavily. Elkhan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Elkhan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kawiwasulu's head. Elkhan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Elkhan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elkhan cracks Kawiwasulu with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kawiwasulu looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Elkhan finish him?
Kawiwasulu is rocked! Elkhan lands a jab to Kawiwasulu's midsection. Elkhan cracks a nice hook into Kawiwasulu's ribs. Elkhan cracks Kawiwasulu with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Elkhan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kawiwasulu to stand back up! Oh Kawiwasulu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kawiwasulu tries to get into range but Elkhan steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Kawiwasulu! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Elkhan scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rashid Elkhan! A very excited looking Rashid Elkhan rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jani Honkanen! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Honkanen misses with a straight right. Honkanen throws out a loose jab but Vasiliev uses good head movement to avoid it. Vasiliev looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Honkanen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Vasiliev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Honkanen was well out of range. Poor timing from Vasiliev. Vasiliev jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Jani Honkanen has been cut. Honkanen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vasiliev but Vasiliev pushes him off and we're back to square one. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Honkanen is defended easily by Vasiliev. Honkanen misses with a looping right. Vasiliev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Vasiliev swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vasiliev misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Honkanen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Honkanen wants to pass the guard but Vasiliev is keeping the position. Honkanen is still trying to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Honkanen sitting in guard, not really doing much. Vasiliev is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Honkanen trying to control here.

Vasiliev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vasiliev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Honkanen keeping moving, preventing Vasiliev from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Honkanen is on top in guard.

Vasiliev looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Honkanen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Honkanen is trying for a kimura here. Vasiliev looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Honkanen wins by kimura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kapur shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trollslayer as he jumps to the side. Kapur dives in for a single leg takedown but Trollslayer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Trollslayer has Kapur pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Trollslayer pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kapur tumbling to the mat - Trollslayer dives into Kapur's guard. Kapur really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kapur is adopting a defensive guard. Trollslayer is working Kapur over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trollslayer landing some decent shots from guard. Trollslayer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Trollslayer with a flurry of punches that miss.

Trollslayer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kapur wants to sweep but no luck. Kapur will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kapur not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Trollslayer fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Kapur eventually gives up the hold. Trollslayer has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Trollslayer gets back to full guard.
Trollslayer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kapur drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Trollslayer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kapur has Trollslayer in his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Trollslayer is looking to work some ground and pound but Kapur has wrist control. Trollslayer distracts Kapur with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kapur is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Trollslayer defends well. Kapur looking for a sweep. Not yet Kapur, not yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Trollslayer stands and throws Kapur's legs to the side, diving into side control. The ground and pound from Trollslayer seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Balin Trollslayer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Kapur shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Trollslayer defends it nicely. Kapur shoots in for a double leg but Trollslayer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Balin Trollslayer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trollslayer gets the takedown into side control. Trollslayer lands some shots froms side control. Trollslayer working away. Kapur is looking to regain half guard here but Trollslayer keeps moving and retains side control. Trollslayer lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kapur down.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Trollslayer trying to control the position but Kapur is working away. Trollslayer in side control, just content to control the action for now. Kapur is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Trollslayer working away from the top, dropping strikes. Trollslayer putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Kapur is in all sorts of trouble here.
Trollslayer breaks from Kapur's wrist control and lands an elbow. Trollslayer controlling from the full mount. Trollslayer fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kapur is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trollslayer raining down shots from the mount! Trollslayer lands a nice shot to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trollslayer lands with some strikes. Trollslayer avoids the attempt from Kapur to control. Trollslayer pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. It looks like Rav Kapur has been cut. Kapur is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Balin Trollslayer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Trollslayer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
