The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mikkelsen wants to clinch up but Ngouabi keeps it at a distance. Ngouabi appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Ngouabi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ngouabi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mikkelsen keeps working. Ngouabi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mikkelsen sees it coming and defends easily. Ngouabi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ngouabi trying to control the action but Mikkelsen is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mikkelsen wants to get back to his feet.

Ngouabi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Mikkelsen wants to stand but Ngouabi is controlling the position. Ngouabi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mikkelsen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ngouabi, into his guard. Mikkelsen won't allow Ngouabi to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ngouabi is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Ngouabi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ngouabi is wriggling around but Mikkelsen manages to pass to half guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mikkelsen blocks the strikes from Ngouabi.

That was a close round but I would say that Alphonse Ngouabi will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Mikkelsen is looking to clinch. Mikkelsen tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Ngouabi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ngouabi postures up in Mikkelsen's guard and throws a big left but Mikkelsen blocks it. Mikkelsen is wriggling around but Ngouabi manages to pass to half guard.
Ngouabi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mikkelsen gets caught flat footed, as Ngouabi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Mikkelsen manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mikkelsen. Ngouabi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mikkelsen pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mikkelsen tries to sprawl but Ngouabi drives through with a takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ngouabi is trying to work for a kimura but Mikkelsen is defending well.

Mikkelsen is staying active underneath Ngouabi, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ngouabi works his way into side control. Ngouabi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mikkelsen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ngouabi controls the position. Ngouabi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ngouabi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mikkelsen, who protects the arm well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hudak slips under a jab. Hudak works Nyla's body with a nice hook. A telegraphed right hand from Nyla misses the target. Hudak moves out of range as Nyla strikes. Hudak with a nice cross. Hudak comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Nyla takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Hudak moves out of range as Nyla strikes. Hudak tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borisov moves in looking to clinch but Macmillan pushes him off. Borisov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Macmillan! Macmillan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Borisov on the ground. Borisov lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Macmillan down.
Macmillan tries to escape but Borisov is in control. Borisov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Macmillan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Borisov has an Americana. Macmillan didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Borisov is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Borisov hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A very excited looking Hristo Borisov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bors fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bors connects with a leg kick. Bors comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sobhraj on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bors. Bors obviously looking to wear him down.
Bors gets tackled into the cage by Sobhraj. Sobhraj maintains the clinch. Bors lands a nice uppercut. Bors softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Bors just leaning against Sobhraj, taking a breather. A short right from Bors. Sobhraj misses with a short punch on the inside. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bors as Sobhraj tries to tie him up. Bors's coach down at Jorzi GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bors's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Bors lands a nice shot to the body. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Bors working some nice short punches in the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sobhraj lands a body shot in the clinch.

Bors tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sobhraj's elbow. Bors blocking some punches.
I was talking to Sobhraj's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Bors breaks the clinch.

Bors connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sobhraj momentarily.

Bors looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sobhraj takes a jab right on the kisser.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bayo counters with a left to the body. Bayo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Killa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bayo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Killa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Killa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bayo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. It looks like Kento Killa has been cut. Datte Bayo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kento Killa. Killa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bayo tries to avoid it but Killa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bayo to the ground. Bayo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bayo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Killa. Bayo seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Killa throws a poor cross that misses
