Marcos half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Kojima throws a hook but Marcos blocks it. Marcos tries to counter with a takedown but Kojima is quick to defend against it. Marcos gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kojima wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Marcos decides to pull guard. Kojima tries to stand but Marcos is controlling from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marcos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kojima manages to get himself to full guard.

Marcos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kojima's guard. Marcos slows the pace down in half guard. Kojima is looking for a sweep. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Phuc Dat Bich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Maro Pjetlic! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pjetlic gets tackled into the cage by Bich. Bich maintains the clinch. Pjetlic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bich gets control of Pjetlic's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bich will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Pjetlic not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Pjetlic has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bich to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pjetlic is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bich pulls down on the head and he's put Pjetlic to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Phuc Dat Bich! A very excited looking Phuc Dat Bich rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. The defeated Maro Pjetlic had this to say: 'I will be back. Stronger.'.
