The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oh Leonov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Veainu drops Leonov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Leonov looks back up at him and smiles so Veainu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Leonov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Nikolay Leonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Veainu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
