Rousey thuds his right hand into Missalot's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rousey gets to his feet and stands over Missalot, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Missalot felt that one! Rousey unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Missalot from any more punishment!

Hammer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Starfish for as long as he can get away with.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hammer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that John Matrix will probably get the nod.

Matrix changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tech tries to avoid it but Matrix manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tech to the ground. Tech escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

As Tech looks to move away, Matrix throws a big counter combo but Tech just gets out of the way.

Matrix went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Tech fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Matrix.

Tech steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Matrix's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Matrix just didn't come prepared.

Tyson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Currant looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Tyson is defending well. Currant quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Tyson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Currant celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Zoro can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hornby is looking to escape.
We've been hearing good reports from Hornby's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goldberg misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Briggs felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Briggs is looking to regain half guard here but Goldberg keeps moving and retains side control.
Goldberg has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dallman working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
