Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Gaara misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Solomon.
It looked like Solomon was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Gaara.

Solomon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Solomon is looking to stand up but Gaara won't let him.
Solomon stays in close to Gaara's body and controls the position.
Gaara wants to sweep but no luck.
Solomon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gaara swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Solomon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gaara's guard.
Solomon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Femto is thwarting Uchiha's attempts to control the position.

Uchiha is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Femto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Femto's back!

Zoro felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Zoro is looking to control Ace's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zoro avoid being mounted?

Ace wants to work for an arm triangle but Zoro is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Zoro is looking for a sweep. Ace is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Zoro won't allow Ace to pass to mount.
We've been hearing that Ace has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Ace is looking to take a break and control but Zoro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ace is really struggling to control Zoro but he's trying to hold on to the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Zoro is looking to clinch but Ace is avoiding it.
Ace appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
