The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killstrike misses with an uppercut. Spangler saw that one coming. A big left from Killstrike misses. Killstrike thumps Spangler with a low kick. Killstrike staying out of range there. Spangler thows a left - swing and a miss! Spangler lands a jab-cross combination. It looks like Conrad Killstrike has been cut. Spangler scores with a hook to the body. Killstrike takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Spangler with a jab. Killstrike scoring well with a low kick there.
Spangler on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Conrad Killstrike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Spangler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Killstrike. That kick from Killstrike tenderised Spangler's leg. Spangler is trying to keep his angry face on. Killstrike jabbing away but nothing is landing. Spangler seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Spangler is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Killstrike chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Spangler loads up on a big right hand but Killstrike slips the punch. Spangler throws a looping overhand right but Killstrike ducks down to avoid it. A jab lands there for Spangler. Good leg kick by Killstrike. Killstrike attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Killstrike throws a nice looking combination but Spangler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Spangler misses with an uppercut. Killstrike moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Killstrike is rocked! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Killstrike lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Spangler has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Spangler and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A good leg kick by Killstrike. A good leg kick by Killstrike. An inside leg kick lands from Killstrike. Killstrike slips under a jab from Spangler. Spangler blocks a jab. Killstrike throws a right hand that misses
and Killstrike takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Killstrike's coach down at PRETTY PETERS FIGHT CLUB was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Killstrike's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Killstrike throws a leg kick which misses Spangler's front leg but catches the back leg as Spangler tries to avoid it. Spangler connects with a stiff jab that staggers Killstrike - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nick Spangler! Post fight, Nick Spangler took to the microphone: 'Eat my ass with a spoon bitch!!!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie has a takedown stuffed. Gracie ducks right into an uppercut from Brown. Brown is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Brown scores with a nice body kick.
Brown misses with a wild body shot. Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Brown sets himself, and Gracie steps forward looking for the clinch! Brown avoids it this time. Gracie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gracie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Brown is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Gracie shoots in but Brown avoids the takedown attempt easily. Brown throws a big counter combination but Gracie scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Gracie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Devin Brown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Brown throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gracie is rocked! Gracie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brown is trying to defend but Gracie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Brown defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - Brown is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!

Charles Weasel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Martinez sitting in guard, not really doing much. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Horrible takedown attempt by Weasel or perhaps it was just good defense by Martinez, which made it look bad. Martinez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Weasel in his tracks. Weasel tries to move into range but Martinez moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Martinez connects with a nice looking jab.
Weasel feints and as Martinez raises his hands in defense, Weasel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Martinez working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Weasel. Martinez wants to stand up but Weasel is controlling him. Weasel lands a couple of digs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martinez wants to stand but Weasel is controlling the position. Martinez kicks Weasel off and gets to his feet. Mike Martinez seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Martinez clinches with his opponent.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Lima closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Perkele defends it well. Lima trying to control from half guard but Perkele is working away. Perkele knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lima on the ground. Perkele keeping control of the position. Lima looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Perkele works his way to full guard. Good work. Perkele wants to get back to his feet but Lima is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Perkele is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lima tries to free his leg and advance position but Perkele is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lima looking to sit in guard and control but Perkele gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Lima is trying to control the position but Perkele postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perkele stays in close to Lima's body and controls the position. Perkele's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Perkele pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lima is keeping the position for now. Perkele got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lima has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Perkele has managed to get both his arms back between Lima's legs - danger averted. Perkele is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lima can do to turn this around? Perkele slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lima escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Perkele gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Perkele controlling from the top position.

Lima might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Perkele haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Lima is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Perkele is aware though and is defending well. Lima looking for subs off his back but Perkele has passed one foot through into half guard.
Perkele moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Lima. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Perkele connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lima some visible discomfort.
