Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luca Rossi (ranked 5693 p4p, 5750 weight class) and Rustam Magomedov (ranked 563 p4p, 568 weight class). Rossi comes into the arena with Lamu blaring out of the sound system. Rustam Magomedov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Aurelius drops Jackson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jackson looks back up at him and smiles so Aurelius waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Aurelius checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aurelius fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jackson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Aurelius circles away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gallahad closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Shewmaker's guard.
Shewmaker can't keep his opponent in guard - Gallahad advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Gallahad is looking for a kimura but Shewmaker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gallahad to get the leverage.

Gallahad is nestled in close to Shewmaker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
