The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marcus's waist but Marcus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Liger off to one side. Marcus throws a wild body kick that Liger sees coming a mile off. Marcus gets the takedown into side control. Marcus is looking to take a break and control but Liger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Liger is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Marcus regains half guard. Liger takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Marcus is trying to get back to full guard. Liger lands strikes from half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Marcus regains full guard. Nicely done. Liger wants to control from the top but Marcus keeps moving. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but George Marcus will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Liger goes for a double leg but Marcus avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Marcus continues to drive forward. Marcus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Marcus bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Marcus throwing strikes but Liger manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Marcus wants to control but Liger postures up. Liger tries for a kimura but Marcus is defending well. Liger looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marcus regains half guard. Marcus trying to hold on to Liger's head to control him but Liger postures up.
Marcus has hold of Liger's hands but Liger slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Marcus trying to control from the bottom.
Liger landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Marcus wants to control but Liger is keeping busy and won't allow it. Marcus tries to kick Liger off but Liger keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Marcus makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Marcus.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac Giolla Phadraig fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mac Giolla Phadraig shoots in for a takedown but Mfer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mac Giolla Phadraig walks straight into an uppercut. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! he tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hansen defends well and he ends up having to push Hansen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Hansen gets through he's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Hansen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hansen misses with a looping right. Hansen lands a jab to the head.
Nice sprawl there from Hansen as he shoots in. Hansen lands a lovely overhand right. Hansen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by he. Hansen lands with a cross. Hansen scores with a sloppy right hand. he should have avoided that one. Hansen lands with a hook. he tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Hansen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. he misses with a takedown and Hansen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for he he. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice straight punches there by Hansen. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hansen. he is rocked! Marcus Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johannessen let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Johannessen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Gordon tries to clinch but fails miserably and Johannessen counters with a nice body shot. Johannessen closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Gordon out cold! Gordon corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lobsusbaka uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Atkiray has time to react. Lobsusbaka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Atkiray. Lobsusbaka gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Atkiray looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Lobsusbaka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Atkiray manages to avoid it. Atkiray swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lobsusbaka. Atkiray closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
