Verdi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. White connects with an inside leg kick. White throws out a powerful jab. Verdi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before White can pounce on him.
White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A head kick misses from White. We've been informed that White has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. White looks to land a left hand but Verdi moved out of range nicely. White tries a head kick but it misses.
