Nadadora chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kersikov can pounce on him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barboza misses the shot to the body.
Barboza slips under a jab from Faulk.

It looked like Faulk wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Faulk tried to score with a low kick but Barboza checks it.
Barboza moves out of range of the strikes.
Barboza lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Faulk slips under a jab from Barboza.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barboza uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Faulk.
Barboza scores with a decent looking hook.
Faulk walks forward, straight into a front kick from Barboza.

Barboza throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Faulk makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Barboza throws an overhand right that lands on Faulk's shoulder, as Faulk tries to avoid the shot.
Barboza steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Faulk.
Barboza uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Faulk.
Barboza digs a good hook to Faulk's body.
Good exchange - Barboza coming out on top.
Barboza has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Barboza throws a solid leg kick but Faulk takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Barboza.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Barboza lands a big uppercut and Faulk crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Faulk looks OK. Barboza waves Faulk back to his feet!
Faulk is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Faulk swings widly with a right hand
and Barboza counters with a big left hand that crumples Faulk! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

A relieved looking Bento Barboza thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
