0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oohlong Phart! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.

Trapp rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Phart moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Trapp is looking to clinch but Phart is avoiding it.
Phart fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Trapp looks to land a combination but Phart avoids it well. Bear Trapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Phart takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Trapp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Phart. Phart tries to clinch but Trapp moves out of range. Trapp scores with a hook.
Trapp has closed the distance and engaged Phart in a clinch.
Trapp scores with an uppercut up the middle. A short body shot lands from Phart as the two fighters clinch.
Phart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Trapp has taken the fight to the clinch.
Trapp breaks the clinch.
Phart tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Trapp counters with a one-two to the body. Phart looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trapp has closed the distance and engaged Phart in a clinch.
Phart tries for a takedown. No joy.

Trapp decides to stand back up. Trapp steps back and let's Phart get back to his feet. Phart is still on wobbly legs! Can Trapp finish him? Trapp throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Phart stumbling backwards into the cage! Phart bounces back off the cage towards Trapp, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Trapp lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Trapp celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bear Trapp!

Davis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Davis trying to control the pace. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Davis lands a nice short elbow. McBoo is trying to stand up here but Davis is controlling him well.
Davis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McBoo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Davis. Davis not doing much here.

and Davis counters with a takedown into side control. Davis lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. McBoo looks gassed! Davis is staying tight to McBoo's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. McBoo wants to stand but Davis is controlling the position. McBoo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Davis is one step ahead there. Davis looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Davis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McBoo is keeping the position for now.

Davis works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McBoo wants to improve his position but Davis is controlling well.
Davis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. BOOM! Davis connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Izzy Davis dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Izzy Davis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. You can see the frustration on McBoo's face as Davis controls the position. Davis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. McBoo is trying to control Davis's posture but Davis avoids it. Davis trying to control the action but McBoo is working from the bottom. McBoo is being controlled here. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Davis is working to tighten is grip on McBoo's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McBoo has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Davis is really squeezing tight and eventually McBoo passes out! Davis breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Kobashi instigates a clinch. Wall's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Wall tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kobashi smiles and moves away.
Kobashi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kobashi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Wall is trying to maintain the position but Kobashi is very close to passing his half guard. Kobashi passes to side control. Kobashi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kobashi advances to mount. Wall is trying desperately to improve position. Wall is working hard here to advance position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wall is looking to improve his position but Kobashi isn't that keen on the idea. Kenta Kobashi has got the better of the ground game so far. Wall is trying to get back to half guard. Wall sneaks back into half guard. Wall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kobashi on the ground. Kobashi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Let's hope that Kobashi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Wall is looking to improve his position.

And that's the end of the fight! Kenta Kobashi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kobashi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ivory shoots for a takedown but Schneidmiller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ivory shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Allen Ivory. That's going to take a lot out of him. A punch combination from Schneidmiller misses. Hannedy is working to tighten is grip on Finch's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Finch has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hannedy is really squeezing tight and eventually Finch passes out! Hannedy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Koc drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Koc with a flurry of punches that miss. Couch wants to sweep here but Koc controlling him for the moment. Koc wants to control from the top but Couch keeps moving. Couch is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Koc is staying active underneath Couch, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Couch prevents Koc from improving his position. Couch tries to pass to full mount but Koc defends it. Koc works his way to full guard. Good work. Couch pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Koc is keeping the position for now. Couch seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Let's hope that Couch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Koc striking off his back, scoring a few points. Koc is fighting to maintain full guard but Couch has managed to sneak the leg through. Kurt Koc overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Couch has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Koc defend it? Couch steps over the head and cranks it - Koc is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Couch!

Aart closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Aart working away. Aart looking to control but instead Bong has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Aart wants to free his trapped foot but Bong is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bong is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Aart pulls his head out easily. Bong tries to get to full guard but Aart has control of the leg. Bong preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Aart is looking to advance position but Bong won't allow it.

Aart drives through with a takedown into guard. Bong being controlled here, momentarily. Bong looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Aart knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bong on the ground. Bong pulls Aart in close to his closed guard and prevents Aart from doing any damage or advancing position.
Bong is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Aart looking to sit in guard and control but Bong gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Aart trying to keep a closed guard but Bong is proving a slippery customer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bong not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Aart wants to sweep here but Bong controlling him for the moment. Bong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aart swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Aart is trying to get back to half guard. Bong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aart keeps working. Aart wants to control but Bong postures up. Bong trying to control the position but Aart is working away. Aart seems a little lost for a moment, as Bong dominates the positioning. Aart tries to buck Bong off but Bong is having none of it. Bong controlling the position from side mount. Bong in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bongo Bong will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Bong counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bong slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Aart keeping moving, preventing Bong from controlling successfully.
