Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Jones (ranked 4230 p4p, 4241 weight class) and Sakor Wos (ranked 0 p4p, 484 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sakor Wos! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Wos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet. Wos fails to land with a series of punches.
Wos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wos closes the distance and clinches. A bit of stalling here from Jones.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wos content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Jones stalls. Jones tries to break the clinch but Wos is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones lands with a short shot to the head. Jones is trying to force a seperation but Wos has the dominant position. Jones misses with a punch on the inside.
Jones lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wos backwards. Wos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wos has time to react. Wos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wos gets slowly back to his feet. It looked like Jones wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. James Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sakor Wos. Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wos. Wos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wos, pushing him back against the cage. Wos has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wos moves out of range of the strikes. Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones closes the distance and clinches. Wos is looking to take this one to the mat. Wos throws a knee to the head but misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Jones lands a right hand. Jones stalling.
Wos breaks the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wos darts in looking for a takedown but Jones gets double underhooks and turns Wos into the cage. Jones scores with a nice strike. Wos walks into a jab. Jones dips to his left and cracks Wos with an uppercut! Jones works Wos's body with a nice hook. Jones is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wos manages to avoid it. Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones lands a jab. Wos walks into a straight right hand from Jones. Wos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones catches Wos with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones connects with a jab. Wos is rocked! Jones throws a right hand that Wos ducks under and follows up with a left that Wos also avoids with ease. Wos is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones cracks a nice hook into Wos's ribs. Wos seems to have recovered his senses. Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A jab from Jones finds it's way through Wos's defenses. Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Good shot there by Jones. Jones gets a clinch. Jones just leaning against Wos, taking a breather. Wos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.
James Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body punch from Wos. Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wos takes a shot to the body in his stride.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
James Jones dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Some wild striking there from Jones.
James Jones is winning the standup battle so far. Wos is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sakor Wos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wos. Wos fails with the takedown and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. James Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sakor Wos. Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Wos dives in for a single leg takedown but Jones sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jones works Wos's body with a nice hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones connects with a crisp jab. Good shot there by Jones. Wos is breathing heavily. Jones scores with a hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones cracks Wos with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Wos looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jones finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones scores with a jab to the jaw. Jones connects with a superb combination that knocks Wos out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Jones before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Wos!

Alvarado shoots in and drives through. McAlroy sprawls well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McAlroy lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Alvarado can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from McAlroy and Alvarado drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by McAlroy.
