Da Silva Jr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Valle is fending him off so far but Da Silva Jr persists. Nope, Valle circles away and we're back to standing.
Da Silva Jr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Valle but Valle pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Garcia shoots for a takedown but Biko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Biko works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Biko rushes Garcia and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Garcia blocks an uppercut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Garcia has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Biko will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Garcia up against the cage.
Biko throws a punch but it's blocked by Garcia.

I was talking to Biko's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Biko looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Garcia can't hide his disappointment, as Biko celebrates the victory.
