The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tapsanen slips under a jab.
Macmahon scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tapsanen in his tracks.
Tapsanen throws a lazy right hand but Macmahon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jason Macmahon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Tapio Tapsanen has been cut.
Macmahon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tapsanen on the side of the head.

Macmahon cracks Tapsanen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tapsanen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Macmahon finish him?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Macmahon lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Tapsanen up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Macmahon from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Tapsanen's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

That was a close second round but I would say that So Lo Kyu will probably get the nod.
