Balboa shoots in but Fury avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Balboa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Balboa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fury paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Fury walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Balboa drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Fury swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Balboa's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Light gets caught flat footed, as Man shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Man is looking to work some ground and pound but Light has wrist control.

Man has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Man drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Man jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Light swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Light scores with a head kick. Man tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Light pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Man throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Light tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Man is in Light's guard.

Man is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Man throwing shots but Light is blocking nicely.

Man seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Light does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Man fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Light avoids a series of strikes thrown by Man.
Man landing strikes from the mount and Light is in trouble!
Light really wants to buck Man off and get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Man looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Man feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Man throws an elbow that misses. Light uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Man's guard. Nice move by Light!

Light will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Man had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Light defends it easily.

Man bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Light's guard.

Man's corner is telling him to maintain position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Man accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Light utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Man has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Man wants to control from the top but Light keeps moving.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Man thows a huge punch but Light dodges it nicely.

After the fight, Lucifer Morningstar was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
