Nevans tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tatum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nevans somewhat.

Tatum closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tatum lands in his opponent's guard.

Tatum sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nevans's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tatum throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Nevans has his hands clasped together but Tatum breaks the hold and Nevans is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Tatum!

A relieved looking Scoot Tatum thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Scrivens closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Scrivens wants to pass to mount but Jericho is defending the position.
Scrivens keeps trying to improve his position.
Jericho gets full guard.
Jericho looking for a sweep. Not yet Jericho, not yet.
Jericho seems keen to control Scrivens's posture.
Jericho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jericho manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Scrivens manages to get himself to full guard.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Jericho.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jericho connects with a nice short shot to Scrivens's temple.
Jericho takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Jericho seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Scrivens for as long as he can get away with.
Jericho continues to hold on tight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Scrivens tries to get to full guard but Jericho has control of the leg.
Jericho looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jackson Jericho.
Well Jericho has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
