The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jankens's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Angel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jankens scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Jertavius Jankens has been cut.
Good exchange - Angel coming out on top.
A big right from Jankens misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Angel misses its target.

Angel drops Jankens with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jankens looks back up at him and smiles so Angel waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jankens is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jankens misses with a looping left.
An attempted straight right counter from Angel misses the target.
Jankens is still on wobbly legs! Can Angel finish him?
Jankens thuds a left hand into Angel's body.
Jankens seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters circling - Jankens throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Angel is looking to counter punch.
Jankens swings for the body but Angel moves out of range.
Jankens lands a really nice looking cross but Angel seems unphased.
It looks like Morbid Angel has been cut.
Jankens avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Angel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jankens manages to avoid it.
Angel slips a jab from Jankens.

Angel lands a big right hand that sends Jankens crashing to the mat! Angel stays standing though and waves Jankens back to his feet!
That has opened up Jertavius Jankens's cut even more.
Angel drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Jankens right on the button. Jankens goes down! Angel follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Angel gets the win via TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rigoni takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Rigoni clinches.

Rigoni is trying to trip Ashby. He has hold of a leg but Ashby is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rigoni persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Rigoni might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Rigoni is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ashby seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Rigoni looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ashby shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rigoni as he jumps to the side.
Rigoni swats away the attempt to clinch by Ashby.

Rigoni darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Rigoni winds up and cracks Ashby with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Rigoni has got his arm under Ashby's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Ashby has spun round into Rigoni's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rigoni uses his free foot to push down on Ashby's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ashby.

Ashby is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rigoni tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Assunto Rigoni showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rigoni, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tritty has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Whang is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Despite the aggression on Tritty's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

I think Frost might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to SETH ECT - B.L.A.S.T. Escobar Chavez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Buena Vista Social Club - Hasta Siempre. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Narvaez throws a chopping leg kick but Pardi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Pardi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Carlos Narvaez.
