The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockefeller jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rockefeller moves away from the strike by Wallace.
Rockefeller misses with a lunging right hand

and Wallace counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wallace.
A left hand lands to the body for Wallace.
Wallace makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Rockefeller is trying to break the clinch but Wallace is controlling him.
Wallace tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Rockefeller 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wallace cracks Rockefeller with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Richard Rockefeller has been cut.
Rockefeller walks straight into a right hand from Wallace - that's dropped him! Wallace jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rockefeller from any more punishment! Rockefeller complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bubba Wallace!
