With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kenton Tracks! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hilton Jr keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hilton Jr closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Hilton Jr avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hilton Jr has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Tracks lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Tracks lands with a nice combination. Hilton Jr backs away looking to recover. Kenton Tracks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tracks closes the distance and lands a one-two. Tracks cracks Hilton Jr with a right hand to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tracks tries to score with a low kick but Hilton Jr moves his leg out of the way. Hilton Jr half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Hilton Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tracks was well out of range. Poor timing from Hilton Jr. Hilton Jr shoots for a takedown but Tracks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tracks throws a leg kick but Hilton Jr sees it coming and checks it nicely. Tracks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tracks gets caught flat footed, as Hilton Jr shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tracks wants to stand but Hilton Jr is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tracks pushes Hilton Jr off and scrambles back to his feet.
Tracks is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Hilton Jr misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tracks.

Hilton Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Tracks, looking for a takedown. Hilton Jr pushes Tracks against the cage but Tracks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hilton Jr saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!

King does a little dance to reset his feet. Of Moria takes a swing at King's ribcage but misses. King tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Of Moria paws at him with a jab and circles away. King darts in trying to clinch and Of Moria counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brolin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brolin throws a head kick that misses. Snake half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Brolin's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Brolin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Brolin wants to clinch and Snake counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brolin throws a right and a left that both miss. Brolin moves into the clinch. Snake dodges an elbow strike from Brolin.

Diaz lands an elbow that stopped Abdullayev in his tracks for a moment. Abdullayev pulls guard effortlessly. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Diaz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Stephens misses with a kick to the body and HiChi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stephens is defended easily by HiChi. HiChi connects with a body shot. Stephens takes one on the chin but seems OK.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. HiChi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stephens. A little feinted left hand from HiChi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. HiChi lands a lovely overhand right. HiChi keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

HiChi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xon HiChi dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. HiChi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stephens at a distance.
HiChi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stephens in his tracks. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Stephens might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, HiChi has got the better of the exchanges. Stephens tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but HiChi swivels and escapes. HiChi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Stephens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. HiChi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Stephens is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Stephens trying to control but HiChi is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hitoshi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Alert shoots in for a takedown but Hitoshi shows good takedown defense. Alert has a takedown stuffed. A countering left hand to the body from Hitoshi misses. Hitoshi looks to score with a jab to the body but Alert is just out of range. Alert is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hitoshi.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Alert shoots in looking for a takedown. Hitoshi tries to sprawl out of it but Alert keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hitoshi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hitoshi throws a looping overhand right but Alert ducks down to avoid it. Alert fails to land the takedown. Hitoshi tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Alert changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hitoshi tries to avoid it but Alert manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hitoshi to the ground. Hitoshi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hitoshi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alert paws at him with a jab and circles away. Alert appears to be looking for a counter takedown. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hirata Hitoshi will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Alert is rocked! Hitoshi loads up on a big left hand. Alert felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hitoshi looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Alert can't hide his disappointment, as Hitoshi celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hirata Hitoshi! A relieved looking Hirata Hitoshi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
