Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fucccup Trump (ranked 4190 p4p, 2885 weight class) and Boyd Fitzgerald (ranked 515 p4p, 394 weight class). Fucccup Trump had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 267.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Fucccup Trump has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trump sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Fitzgerald fails with a takedown attempt. Trump appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Trump on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Fitzgerald dives in for a single leg takedown but Trump sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Fitzgerald delivers a nice body kick. Fitzgerald looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A slapping leg kick lands for Fitzgerald.

As Fitzgerald backs away, Trump returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Fitzgerald misses with a body kick. Fitzgerald fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Fitzgerald lets loose with a powerful body kick. Trump will feel that in the morning. Trump throws a leg kick and Fitzgerald counters with a nice kick to the body. "Ole!" shouts Trump as he jumps to the side. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fitzgerald shoots for a double leg takedown but Trump sprawls well. He's pushed Fitzgerald's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fitzgerald ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fitzgerald unleashes a big counter combination but Trump bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Martel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Kapur wants to control but Thompson is keeping him busy. Thompson wants to get back to full guard. Kapur is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Thompson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Thompson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kapur controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kapur stopping the sweep attempt from Thompson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Thompson is on top in guard.
