Basil Shabazz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimbo Wahwah.

Shabazz drops Wahwah with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wahwah looks back up at him and smiles so Shabazz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

We've been hearing that Chugman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Chugman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ship can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Chugman wants to control the pace but Ship is squirming around nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Chugman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ship gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ship got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chugman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ship has managed to get both his arms back between Chugman's legs - danger averted.

He's out cold! Ship gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

It looked like Hunter wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Hunter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hunter shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Half Assed swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hunter.
Hunter gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Commie Hunter has been cut.
Hunter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hunter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Half Assed.
Half Assed takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

We've been told by Hunter's head coaches at Tran MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Oooooh!!! Hunter has knocked Half Assed down with a huge combo! Hunter steps away and waves a wobbly Half Assed back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Anti Half Assed has been cut.
Commie Hunter is winning the standup battle so far.
Half Assed misses with a hook. Hunter ducked under it nicely.
Half Assed is still on wobbly legs! Can Hunter finish him?

Half Assed takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Half Assed seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd cheers as Half Assed lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hunter doesn't seem phased though.

Hunter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Half Assed circles away quickly and effectively.

Hunter misses the shot to the body.
Hunter swings for the body but Half Assed moves out of range.
Half Assed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Hunter feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Half Assed sprawling to the canvas! Half Assed rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hunter finish him?!
Hunter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Half Assed moves away.
Half Assed gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Hunter gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Half Assed is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Commie Hunter!
During a confident post fight interview, Commie Hunter thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
