With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hirata Hitoshi!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hitoshi drives through and clinches with Aki against the cage.

and Hitoshi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Aki won't be happy with that.

Hitoshi lands a strong strike to the head of Aki. That's dazed him! Hitoshi looking to finish here. Aki is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Hitoshi lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caetano tries to keep at a distance but Soto has taken the fight into the clinch.
Caetano tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Caetano changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Soto fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Soto closes the distance and pushes Caetano back into the cage.
Caetano throws a head punch that misses.

Caetano jumps guard and drags Soto to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Soto trying to control the position from guard on top but Caetano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Caetano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Soto manages to get himself to full guard.


Soto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Caetano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Soto is tightening it up a little... Caetano has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Caetano reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Caetano taps out! Nice BJJ there by Soto!

Hanen is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Thibodeaux screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
