Burt is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

OR biding his time, looking for the opening.
Let's hope that OR has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OR is continuing to stall.

OR misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
OR throws a push kick but Burt slaps the foot to one side.
OR takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Burt cracks OR with a good jab.
OR throws a looping overhand right but Burt ducks down to avoid it.
Burt lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Burt throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A decent looking cross lands there for OR.
Lucca Burt's cut is getting worse.

Burt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but OR moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
OR shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

OR drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Burt tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Burt can't do much from the bottom here.

OR decides to stand back up. OR steps back and let's Burt get back to his feet.

OR closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Burt wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

OR is controlling Burt's posture.

OR throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Burt decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on OR, up you get!

OR closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Burt's guard.

Burt not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Burt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
OR advances to half guard.
Burt is looking for a sweep. OR is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
OR landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Burt is not content to let OR control the position.
Burt won't allow OR to pass to mount.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anstey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Anstey is working Eh over with some ground and pound from side control.
Anstey is looking to take a break and control but Eh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anstey sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Eh is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Anstey is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Eh's shoulder. That is not cool.
Anstey seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Eh for as long as he can get away with.
Anstey looks up at the clock and then as Eh takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Anstey smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Anstey in side control, just content to control the action for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
