The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tranchemontagne lands a nice looking kick to the body. Greene takes a step back to recover. Greene takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A shot to the body from Tranchemontagne misses and Greene connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. It looks like Ephraim Tranchemontagne has been cut. Greene takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Greene throws a hook to the side of Tranchemontagne's head but Tranchemontagne sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Askrew! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.

and Askrew counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Askrew thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Askrew stands and throws Lawris's legs to the side, diving into side control. Askrew looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Askrew tries for a kimura but Lawris is defending well. Lawris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Askrew on the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Askrew is working to tighten his grip on Lawris's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lawris has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Askrew is really squeezing tight and eventually Lawris passes out! Askrew breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Saigon delivers a nice body kick. Saigon is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Saigon dives in and grabs James's left leg, looking for a takedown. James pushes down on Saigon's head and hops out.

James doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. James takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Saigon throws a combination. James tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Saigon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that James can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saigon punishes James's body with a nice straight punch. Saigon lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
James takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Saigon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and James has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Saigon jabs at James's body. Johnny Saigon is winning the standup battle so far. Saigon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt James.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saigon cracks James with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Saigon jabs at James's body. Danga de danga de dang - Saigon scores with a four punch combination! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Saigon scores with a jab. James acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Hand on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Crawley connects with an inside leg kick. Hand moves away from the strike by Crawley. Hand swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Crawley scores with a body shot.

and Crawley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Crawley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crawley staying out of range there. Crawley throws a jab when Hand was well out of range. Hand now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Hand looks to throw the jab but Crawley is out of range. Crawley misses with a looping left. Crawley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hand. Hand looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Hand misses the jab. Crawley scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hand on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Billy Crawley will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Crawley slips under a jab from Hand. Hand might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Crawley lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Hand on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Crawley swings for the body but Hand moves out of range.
Crawley throws a lazy right hand but Hand sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hand takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Hand throws an overhand right that lands on Crawley's shoulder, as Crawley tries to avoid the shot. Hand checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hand will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ruiha is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Ruiha circles away and we're back to standing. Lee fails with the takedown. Lee gets the takedown into side control. Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ruiha knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ruiha's coach down at London MMA Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ruiha's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Ruiha throws a good cross that connects.
Robert Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ruiha lands a head shot. It looks like Robert Lee has been cut. Lee throws a head kick that misses and Ruiha counters with a big right hand! Oh Lee is in trouble here! Ruiha follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Morgan Malig showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Lamez checks the leg kick nicely there.
Lamez tries to close the distance and clinch but Malig swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Malig uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lamez. Malig misses the shot to the body. Lamez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Malig fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Malig swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Malig has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lamez uses from the top position. Malig is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lamez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Lamez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Oliveira ducks under a wild hook from Dick. Dick cracks De Oliveira with a right hand to the side of the head. De Oliveira is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. De Oliveira shoots in and drives through. Dick sprawls well. A big left from Dick misses. De Oliveira has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. De Oliveira scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dick on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dick tries to get out of the position. Dick struggling a bit here. Let's hope that Dawkins has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vargas connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Trollslayer's hands. Vargas catches Trollslayer with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Vargas drops Trollslayer with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Trollslayer looks back up at him and smiles so Vargas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Trollslayer is rocked! Vargas clinches up against the cage. Oh Trollslayer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vargas connects with a knee right up the middle! Trollslayer tumbles to the floor and Vargas stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!
