Nice work there by Yoshida. Yoshida stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilco swivels though and keeps the full guard. Yoshida pushing down on Wilco's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Jae Wilco is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilco wants to get back to full guard. Yoshida looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wilco with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yoshida connects with a nice short shot to Wilco's temple. Wilco trying to hold on to Yoshida's head to control him but Yoshida postures up.
Wilco makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wilco. Yoshida drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wilco looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wilco looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wilco! Yoshida tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! Ken Yoshida comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wilco has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Wattson misses with a straight right. Wattson throws a lazy right hand but Kongo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kongo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wattson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kongo staying out of range there. Kongo scoring well with a low kick there.

Wattson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Kongo cracks Wattson with a right hand to the side of the head. Kongo lands with a kick to the ribs.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Murder checks a leg kick. Murder missing with a left hand there. Candy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Good work by Murder as he checks the leg kick. Candy throws a sloppy head kick and Murder moves out of range easily. Candy throws a wild body kick that Murder sees coming a mile off. Candy moves away from the strike by Murder. Murder looks to land a left hand but Candy moved out of range nicely. Murder missing with a left hand there. Candy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Murder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Dong. Golem throws a body kick that misses. A big right from Dong misses. Golem moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Dong lands with an overhand left. Dong pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dong takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A decent looking cross lands there for Golem. Golem pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Golem sprawls well. Golem wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dong gets slowly back to his feet. Dong blocks a head kick by Golem.
Dong throws a body punch but Golem moves out of range. A big left from Dong misses. Golem throws a hook to the side of Dong's head but Dong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Golem slips under a jab from Dong. Golem goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Golem slips under a jab from Dong.
That's one minute gone in the round. Golem dips to his left and cracks Dong with an uppercut! Dong fails to land the takedown. Dong looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dong is looking to take a break and control but Golem is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dong is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Golem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dong thows a huge punch but Golem dodges it nicely.
Dong is nestled in close to Golem, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dong is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Golem has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dong takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Golem can do anything to dispel that myth. Dong seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Golem for as long as he can get away with. Golem is refusing to be controlled, as Dong sits in half guard. Dong looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Dong is looking to take a break and control but Golem is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hung Dong. Golem takes one to the chin there.

Dong prevents Golem from getting back to his feet. Dong looking to sit in guard and control but Golem gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Golem wants to stand but Dong is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Geodude Golem will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Geodude Golem showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

and Golem connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dong misses with a shot to the body and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Golem jabs at Dong's body. Dong closes this distance looking for a takedown but Golem circles away. Dong takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. A solid body kick from Golem. Golem dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dong. That did some damage! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Golem.
Dong looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Both fighters circling a little - Golem finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
