Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Third Wife!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pinina Zhikova!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wife scores with a jab.
Nice sprawl there from Wife as Zhikova shoots in.
Wife throws a hook to the side of Zhikova's head but Zhikova sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wife throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wife throws a looping overhand right but Zhikova ducks down to avoid it.
Zhikova misses with a body shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Zhikova has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Zhikova tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wife swivels and escapes.
Wife connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Zhikova shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wife pinned against the cage. Wife gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Third Wife has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pinina Zhikova.

Wife drops Zhikova with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Zhikova looks back up at him and smiles so Wife waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zhikova with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wife to score with a decent uppercut.
Nice takedown defense from Wife. No joy for Zhikova on that attempt.

Zhikova shoots for a double leg takedown but Wife sprawls well. He's pushed Zhikova's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Third Wife is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zhikova looks to score with a jab to the body but Wife is just out of range.

Zhikova shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zhikova showed some decent athleticism there.

Wife kicks Zhikova off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wife swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wife seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Wife lands a really nice looking cross but Zhikova seems unphased.
Wife fakes the body blow, causing Zhikova to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Zhikova goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Third Wife decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
