Wasama shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mattila napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dostoevsky moves into the clinch successfully.
Routalempi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dostoevsky walks away with a smile on his face. Routalempi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Routalempi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dostoevsky's waist but Dostoevsky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Routalempi off to one side.

Vlad Dostoevsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pekka Routalempi.

It looks like Pekka Routalempi has been cut.

Dostoevsky cracks Routalempi with an uppercut from hell and Routalempi crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Dostoevsky's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
