Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 42 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jax Thomas! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 44 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Chaelsson! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Chaelsson counters with a straight right hand. Thomas swings widly with a right hand
and Chaelsson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Thomas misses with a lunging right hand
letting Chaelsson counter with a right hand. Thomas misses with a right hand and Chaelsson counters with a straight right hand. Chaelsson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Thomas throws the left hand but Chaelsson avoids the punch easily. Chaelsson throws out a counter right but Thomas avoids it with no problem. Thomas misses with a right hand letting Chaelsson counter with a right hand. Thomas misses with a hook. Chaelsson avoids the head kick by Thomas.
It seemed like Chaelsson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Thomas has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas in the buildup to the fight. Chaelsson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thomas. Thomas throws a right hand that misses
and Chaelsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Thomas throws a head kick that misses. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chaelsson! But no joy. Thomas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chaelsson on the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Thomas, as that shot connected.

Thomas is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Thomas swings widly with a right hand

enabling Chaelsson to counter with a crisp jab. Chaelsson is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Chaelsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Thomas cracks Chaelsson with a good jab. A punch lands to the side of Chaelsson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Thomas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Thomas throws a lazy uppercut
and Chaelsson counters with a stiff right hand. Thomas looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Thomas misses with a combination
and Chaelsson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Thomas misses with a hook
and Chaelsson counters with a nice uppercut.

and Chaelsson counters with a straight right hand. Thomas connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Chaelsson's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Chaelsson - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Shewmaker! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shewmaker scores with a head kick. Pain tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Shewmaker misses with a wild body shot. Pain throws a quick counter head kick but Shewmaker was just out of range. Shewmaker has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Shewmaker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shewmaker thuds his shin into the meat of Pain's side. Shewmaker lands with a slapping head kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Shewmaker.
Pain is looking to clinch but Shewmaker is avoiding it.
Shewmaker throws a series of punches but Pain avoids them all with ease. Shewmaker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pain throws a low kick, looking for Shewmaker's leg but Shewmaker calmly moves out of range. Shewmaker scores with a head kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shewmaker's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pain under the eye. Shewmaker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shewmaker throws a right and a left that Pain avoids nicely. Shewmaker throws a sloppy head kick and Pain moves out of range easily. Shewmaker throws out a head kick that Pain doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Pain crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Pain's eyes and has decided to let it go on! Shewmaker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pain moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pain defending well as Shewmaker loads up on a big left hand. Pain throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Shewmaker counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain takes a shot to the head. Shewmaker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Shewmaker scores with a shoulder strike. Shewmaker connects with a knee to the head.
Pain is rocked! A short right hand to the side of the head by Shewmaker. Oh Pain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Shewmaker with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Shewmaker cracks Pain with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Pain goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Pain wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!

With a record of 23 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Tate Iii! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sota Sankari! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tate Iii paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. It looks like Sota Sankari has been cut. Tate Iii clips Sankari with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Sankari a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout. Tate Iii plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Sankari to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Sankari just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
