Vidal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Vidal tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bellington swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Miller has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Miller keeps Kara at a distance using the push kick.

Miller creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Kara's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Kara drops to his knees and Miller pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz fails with the takedown.
Henry misses with a few strikes there.

Henry tries to sprawl but Diaz drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Henry has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Diaz is working away from the top position though.

Diaz is trying a forearm choke I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Diaz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Henry defends it well.
Diaz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Henry knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Polo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Riak dives in for a single leg takedown but Polo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Polo's coach down at Iron Sharpens Iron was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Polo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Polo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Riak sprawling to the canvas! Riak rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Polo finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Polo cracks Riak with a hook to the temple - Riak is on wobbly legs here! Polo swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Riak falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Polo wins by TKO!
