The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGully tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fadden swivels and escapes. Fadden throws a sloppy head kick and McGully moves out of range easily. McGully cracks Fadden with a right hand to the side of the head. McGully misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No luck for McGully with that takedown attempt. McGully dives in and grabs Fadden's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fadden pushes down on McGully's head and hops out. Jack Fadden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason McGully. Fadden tries to clinch but McGully is having none of it. Kronic wants to get back to his feet but Floyd drags him back down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A bone on bone clash there as Kronic blocks the leg kick.
A nice combination there by Kronic.
Kronic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Floyd swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kronic slaps away a takedown attempt from Floyd, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kronic stuns Floyd with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Nate Kronic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Floyd is breathing heavily. Kronic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Floyd stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Floyd fails to land the takedown. Kronic lands a left and a right that send Floyd crashing to the mat, dazed. Kronic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Randall Floyd has been cut. Kronic fails with a takedown attempt. Kronic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kronic gets in close and instigates a clinch. Floyd using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kronic has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Floyd tries to circle away but Kronic has him pinned against the cage. Kronic throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Floyd blocks it with crossed arms. Kronic effectively controlling the action here. Kronic crunches a lovely knee into Floyd's ribcage. Kronic lands a knee to the body.

Kronic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Floyd tries to avoid it but Kronic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Floyd to the ground. Floyd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Floyd tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kronic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Floyd somewhat. Kronic scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Floyd fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Floyd throws a leg kick that misses. Kronic scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Randall Floyd is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kronic lunges at Floyd with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Floyd's hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kronic takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Floyd throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kronic throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
