The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Muscat looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Parker content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. My spies in Hyperbolic Time Chamber inform me that Parker has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Parker seems to be working for a kimura but Muscat defends the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker controlling the action here. Parker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Parker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Let's hope that Parker has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. He's trying to wriggle out but Parker has cracked it and Muscat is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Parker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yarmalenko stuffs the takedown. Manger moves into range and clinches up with Yarmalenko. Manger wants to take the fight to the mat but Yarmalenko manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Yarmalenko putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Manger in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Manger could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Yarmalenko lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. A knee to the head by Yarmalenko.
Yarmalenko's coach down at Casa Steel was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yarmalenko's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Yarmalenko lands a right hand that snaps the head of Manger backwards. A short right from Yarmalenko on the inside. Yarmalenko presses Manger against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Manger is breathing heavily. Yarmalenko pushes Manger back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Yarmalenko digs a right hand underneath Manger's ribcage. Manger let out a lung full of air as it connected. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Manger takes a knee right on the jaw!
Yarmalenko jerks Manger to the side and lands a massive knee to the head that knocks him out cold! Manger's lifeless body is proped up only by the cage. Yarmalenko steps back, hand raised, as the crowd goes wild!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrov swings for the body but Soderstedt moves out of range.

Soderstedt takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. It looks like Hank Soderstedt has been cut. Soderstedt looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Soderstedt takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Petrov lands a jab to Soderstedt's midsection. Petrov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Soderstedt. Petrov lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Soderstedt backs up against the cage.
Petrov takes a swing at Soderstedt's ribcage but misses. Petrov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Soderstedt is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Soderstedt sizes up Petrov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

He has the arm isolated but De Ridefort is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dewire is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. De Ridefort looks calm but he's in trouble here. Dewire gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. De Ridefort is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Alaska on his heels. He'll look to pass Alaska's guard now, I'm sure. Alaska seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Perry trying to control the position from guard on top but Alaska is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alaska bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Perry's guard. Alaska engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alaska advances position into side control! Alaska is working to tighten his grip on Perry's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Perry has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Alaska is really squeezing tight and eventually Perry passes out! Alaska breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carson jabs at Devic's body. A punch combination from Carson misses. Carson stalks Devic and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Devic's face. Devic staggers backwards, shaken. Devic shoots in and drives through. Carson sprawls well. Devic throws a big shot that misses. Carson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Devic backs up against the cage.
Devic looks winded! A shot to the liver by Carson. Beautiful body shot. Carson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Carson connects with a single shot there. Carson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Devic walks into a straight right hand from Carson. Carson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Carson lands a left and a right that send Devic crashing to the mat, dazed. Carson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Devic is rocked! Carson fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Devic to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Devic looks to clinch but Carson throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Devic taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moustaffa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Amagov manages to avoid it. Amagov changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Amagov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Moustaffa counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Amagov thinking. Moustaffa takes a swing at Amagov's ribcage but misses. Amagov attempts a counter takedown but Moustaffa avoids it well and moves away. Moustaffa misses with a head kick.
Amagov feinted with a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moustaffa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Amagov moves away. Amagov misses the shot to the body.

Moustaffa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A looping hook to the body misses from Amagov. Moustaffa does a little dance to reset his feet. As Amagov backs off Moustaffa throws a huge counter combo but Amagov manages to avoid it all. Moustaffa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Amagov tries to counter with a takedown but Moustaffa is quick to defend against it. Moustaffa throws a half hearted mid kick. Amagov goes for a double leg but Moustaffa avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Moustaffa continues to drive forward. Moustaffa is looking for the big counter here. Moustaffa working hard to break the clinch. Moustaffa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Amagov misses with a takedown attempt - Moustaffa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petr Amagov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moustaffa tries to land a body kick and Amagov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amagov uses his free foot to push down on Moustaffa's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Moustaffa. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Amagov moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Moustaffa has worked his arm free - good work by Moustaffa!

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Amagov swings around for an armbar but Moustaffa sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Amagov's guard. Amagov looking for a sweep. Not yet Amagov, not yet. Amagov trying to keep a closed guard but Moustaffa is proving a slippery customer.
Amagov looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Moustaffa sitting in guard, not really doing much.

That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Amagov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Moustaffa was well out of range. Poor timing from Amagov. Amagov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Moustaffa now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Moustaffa checks a leg kick nicely. It seemed like Moustaffa was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A slow jab from Moustaffa misses its intended target. Moustaffa leaves Amagov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Moustaffa throws a lazy right hand but Amagov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Moustaffa connects with a single shot there. A shot to the liver by Amagov. Beautiful body shot. Moustaffa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Moustaffa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Amagov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Moustaffa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Donk. Moustaffa catches Amagov right on the button with a cross. Amagov tries for a takedown but Moustaffa circles away easily and Moustaffa counters with a lovely straight right hand! Amagov throws a leg kick and Moustaffa counters with a straight right hand. Amagov wants to land a leg kick but Moustaffa is out of range.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Amagov misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Moustaffa counter with a right hand. Amagov ducks under a wild hook from Moustaffa. Amagov changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. The fighters circling - Moustaffa throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Amagov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Moustaffa misses with a shot to the body and Amagov counters with a shoot takedown. Moustaffa fights it but they end up in guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Aahad Moustaffa dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Amagov is defended easily by Moustaffa. Some wild striking there from Amagov.

Amagov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moustaffa pinned against the cage. Moustaffa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petr Amagov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Moustaffa. No joy for Amagov on that attempt. Moustaffa counters with a body kick. Moustaffa bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Amagov's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moustaffa thuds his shin into the meat of Amagov's side. Moustaffa checks a leg kick. Amagov shoots for a double leg takedown but Moustaffa sprawls well. He's pushed Amagov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A nice side step and Moustaffa releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Amagov fails with the takedown. Moustaffa throws a head kick that half lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crunch! Moustaffa slams his shin into Amagov's torso. Amagov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Moustaffa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Amagov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Moustaffa. That one must have hurt. Amagov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Moustaffa cracks Amagov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Amagov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Moustaffa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Amagov moves away. Nice takedown defense from Moustaffa. No joy for Amagov on that attempt. Moustaffa uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Nice shot lands for Moustaffa. Amagov is rocked!
That's six minutes gone in the round. Amagov throws a lazy head kick and Moustaffa counters with a nice uppercut. Oh Amagov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! It's a brutal combination of punches from Moustaffa! Amagov is backing up but he can't get away as Moustaffa lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Amagov and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Aahad Moustaffa! Aahad Moustaffa is the new lightweight champion! Aahad Moustaffa decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
