The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tou darts in looking for a takedown but Stosic gets double underhooks and turns Tou into the cage.

Stosic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Tou closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stosic to the mat! Stosic manages to get full guard.
Tou trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Stosic is staying active underneath Tou, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Freeman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Arianto steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Freeman.
Freeman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ariantos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
No luck for Arianto with that takedown attempt.

and Arianto counters by moving into the clinch.
Freeman gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Arianto.
Freeman tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Arianto complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Da Coro tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Knight defends well and Da Coro ends up having to push Knight into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Knight enables Freeman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Knight manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Knight can do anything to dispel that myth.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Marsh!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wheller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Marsh to the mat! Marsh manages to get full guard.
Wheller's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marsh is trying to control the position but Wheller postures up.
Wheller controls from within his opponent's guard.
Wheller connects with a couple of short punches.
Wheller is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wheller stands and throws Marsh's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Wheller has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Marsh is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Wheller yanks on the arm and Marsh is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Wheller.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thompson circles away quickly and effectively.
A little feinted left hand from Thompson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Thompson tests Hunter's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hunter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Thompson leaves Hunter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hunter throws a head kick but Thompson moves out of range.
Hunter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hunter is defended easily by Thompson.
Ben Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hunter instigates a clinch.

Thompson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunter slips a straight right by Thompson.
Thompson lands with an overhand left.
Hunter takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hunter is rocked!
Thompson knocks out Hunter with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Thompson before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Thompson picks up the big W with a huge KO!
