The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman swings away with a body shot that misses
and Tou counters with a shoot takedown. Freeman fights it but they end up in guard.
Tou slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Tou is putting a hurting on Freeman here, landing some big shots from side control.
Tou wants to lay and pray for a moment but Freeman keeps working.
Tou working the ground and pound but Freeman is defending the strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tou has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Freeman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tou yanks on the arm and Freeman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tou.

A decent looking cross lands there for Knight.
Freeman has managed to clinch.
Knight escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Freeman fails with the takedown
and Knight counters with a nice uppercut.
Knight connects with a body shot.
A punch lands to the side of Freeman 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Freeman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

and Knight cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quidarius Freeman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Knight might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

letting Knight counter with a right hand.
Quidarius Freeman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Freeman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Knight counters with a nice body shot.

Freeman drops his hands momentarily and Knight takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Knight jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Knight lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Freeman - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Knight!

Que Bola keeps the fight on the outside.
Jackson tries to clinch but Que Bola moves out of range.
Que Bola lands a glancing blow to the side of Jackson's head.
Que Bola pounces like a tiger and cracks Jackson with a vicious hook! Jackson is down but not out! Que Bola follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

 It looks like Mick Wheller has been cut.
Wheller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thompson was covering up waiting for the punch and Wheller finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wheller slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Thompson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wheller is controlling him.
Wheller sitting in guard, not really doing much.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Let's hope that Wheller has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Thompson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Thompson tries to get out of the position.
