A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Gracie remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Rain dances in with a quick combination. Whitaker is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Rain snaps Whitaker 's head back. Whitaker stumbles backwards against the cage. Rain steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Whitaker 's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Whitaker just didn't come prepared.

After winning the bout, White Rain thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
