With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pete Roberts! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diesel closes the distance and pushes Roberts back into the cage. Diesel is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Roberts is working for takedown but Diesel is calmly controlling the position for now. Diesel leaning his opponent against the cage. Diesel avoiding damage.

Roberts is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Diesel scores with a nice hook to the head. Roberts is rocked! Diesel working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Roberts is still on wobbly legs! Can Diesel finish him? Diesel creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Roberts's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Roberts drops to his knees and Diesel pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kranckx Diesel! Kranckx Diesel seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Necmettin Hoca! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ganga looks to throw the jab but Hoca is out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hoca! But no joy. Ganga throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hoca fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ganga manages to avoid it. Ganga gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ganga takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ganga gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hoca counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ganga closes the distance and pushes Hoca back into the cage. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hoca looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ganga puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. That was a close round but I would say that Sunil Ganga will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ganga wants to control the pace but Hoca is squirming around nicely. Ganga avoids the attempt from Hoca to control. Ganga takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ganga throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Ganga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hoca can do to turn this around?

Ganga tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ganga is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hoca to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hoca shrugs it off. And that is the end of the round. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ganga drives through with a takedown into guard. Hoca pulls Ganga in to control the position. Let's hope that Hoca has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Boston feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Carters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Carter takes one on the button. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amaru Kawiwasulu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwalin Giantslayer! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Giantslayer drives through with a takedown into guard. Kawiwasulu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Giantslayer is controlling him. Giantslayer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kawiwasulu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Giantslayer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kawiwasulu has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Kawiwasulu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Giantslayer on the ground. Giantslayer in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Giantslayer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Giantslayer connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kawiwasulu some visible discomfort.
My spies in London MMA Club inform me that Giantslayer has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! What's Kawiwasulu going to do here then? Kawiwasulu tries to throw a body punch but Giantslayer avoids it by throwing Kawiwasulu back against the cage. Kawiwasulu presses Giantslayer against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Kawiwasulu lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Takashi fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Cartwright connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Cartwright connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Takashi momentarily.
Catchy Cartwright is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Takashi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cartwright! Takashi is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Cartwright's shoulder. That is not cool. Takashi tries to advance to mount but can't. Takashi trying to control the action but Cartwright is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cartwright is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Takashi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Takashi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Takashi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cartwright keeps working. Takashi tries to advance position but instead Cartwright slips a leg back in to half guard. Takashi wants to take a breather but Cartwright is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Takashi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Takashi is trying a forearm choke I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Cartwright is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Takashi.

Takashi slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
