With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JIggabo Cane! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meuneix gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cane to score an easy takedown into full guard. Cane prevents Meuneix from getting back to his feet. Cane passes into half guard. Cane is pressing down on Meuneix's thigh, looking to free his foot. Meuneix is holding on for now. Cane prevents Meuneix from standing back up.
Cane passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Meuneix! Cane seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Meuneix is holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cane is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Meuneix to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Meuneix shrugs it off. Meuneix on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Meuneix tries to get out of the position. Cane is looking to work his way around to Meuneix's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michel Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yuuji Hoshino! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos shoots in for a takedown but Hoshino shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hoshino slips a jab from Santos. Santos shoots in looking for a takedown. Hoshino tries to sprawl out of it but Santos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hoshino manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Santos seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Santos misses with a takedown and Hoshino counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michel Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Santos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hoshino's guard. Hoshino keeping moving, preventing Santos from controlling successfully. Santos wants to pass the guard but Hoshino is keeping the position. Santos trying to control but Hoshino is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santos being controlled here momentarily. Hoshino is continuing to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Santos is looking to work some ground and pound but Hoshino has wrist control. Santos slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Santos creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hoshino sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The ground and pound from Santos seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Sloppy strikes there by Santos. Santos fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Santos is looking to take a break and control but Hoshino is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Santos lands an elbow. Santos trying to control the position but Hoshino is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Santos postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hoshino felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Santos has hold of Hoshino's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hoshino seems comfortable defending it but Santos has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hoshino is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hoshino is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Santos couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Yewis Mybitches told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

and Mybitches counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Garrison walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Garrison misses with a double jab
and Mybitches counters with a lovely straight right hand! Garrison is rocked! It looks like Gary Garrison has been cut. Garrison avoids a punch combination nicely.

Garrison lands a lovely overhand right. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Garrison takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Garrison jabs Mybitches to the body, keeping him at a distance. Garrison throws out a token jab with nothing on it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mybitches! But no joy. Garrison lands with a nice combination. Mybitches backs away looking to recover. Mybitches fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Garrison, pushing him back against the cage. Garrison looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Mybitches lands a left hand.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Mybitches. Mybitches is working Garrison over against the cage. Mybitches escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Seo Jun tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Furriel is in Seo Jun's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Seo Jun is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The Legend jabbing away but nothing is landing. The Legend throws a head kick that misses. The Legend uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knights. Knights looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The Legend takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The Legend keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The Legend tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Knights lands with an overhand left. The Legend moves into range and connects with a jab. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Knights punishes The Legend's body with a nice straight punch. The Legend bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The Legend throwing a counter right hand but Knights manages to avoid it. A big left from Knights misses. Knights misses the jab. The Legend tests Knights's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nightey Knights seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Legend waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Knights. A nice side step and Knights releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. The Legend misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Legend throws a head kick that misses. The Legend throws a lazy right hand but Knights sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Knights drops The Legend with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but The Legend looks back up at him and smiles so Knights waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The Legend is rocked! Knights sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through The Legend's defenses. It connects perfectly with The Legend's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Lorentz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Lorentz lands with a right hand. A swing and a miss from Lorentz. Kibaki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kibaki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lorentz. Lorentz misses with a looping right. Lorentz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice defenses there by Kibaki. Kibaki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Guy Kibaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab by Lorentz. Lorentz moves into the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kibaki. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lorentz prevents a body shot from Kibaki. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lorentz. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Lorentz. Lorentz lands an elbow inside that Kibaki shrugs off. It looks like Guy Kibaki has been cut. Kibaki takes an elbow to the temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short left from Lorentz. Lorentz lands a damaging elbow. Kibaki wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lorentz has him pressed against the cage. Lorentz lands an elbow inside that Kibaki shrugs off. Come on Lorentz - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Lorentz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kibaki. Lorentz is looking to control Kibaki's arms but Kibaki gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lorentz has his back to the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Lorentz's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Kibaki lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lorentz backwards. Lorentz stalling.
Kibaki gets through Lorentz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kibaki takes a shot to the head. Kibaki tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kibaki's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kibaki tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lorentz's elbow. A battle for position here, against the cage. Kibaki misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Walker wants to take his opponent's back but Carvalho doesn't allow it. Walker with good strikes from the mount here! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walker has hold of Carvalho's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Carvalho manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Welch throws a series of punches but Schwarzschild avoids them all with ease. Schwarzschild wants to counter with a clinch but Welch pushes him away. Schwarzschild looks to throw a body kick enabling Welch to counter with a crisp jab. Welch throws a leg kick and Schwarzschild counters with a straight right hand. Paul Welch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Welch misses with a double jab.
