The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wulong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Manger sprawls well. Manger wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wulong gets slowly back to his feet.
Wulong has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Wulong is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Manger doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wulong.

Manger is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wulong defends well.

Wulong might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wulong has gone for a leg lock! Manger slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wulong's guard.


Wulong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Manger can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wulong has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Manger. Oh but Wulong has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Manger goes limp - he's gone! Wulong jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Beckley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Figure Uno napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Figure Uno controls the position for a moment.
Figure Uno really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Beckley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Figure Uno keeps working.
Figure Uno on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Figure Uno tries to get out of the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Figure Uno slaps away a takedown attempt from Beckley, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Beckley's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Figure Uno connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Beckley scrambles back to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doolan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
No joy there for Doolan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Doolan misses with a double jab.
Benjamin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Doolan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Benjamin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Doolan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Benjamin thuds his right hand into Doolan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Benjamin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Doolan.

Doolan takes a shot right to the bread basket.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Doolan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Doolan moves forwards but Benjamin connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Benjamin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
