Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Wesker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesker comes to the cage accompanied by Thriller. Roberto Gracie struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Wesker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Roberto Gracie! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wesker stuns Gracie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Wesker throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it. Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wesker to score with a decent uppercut. Gracie avoids the body shot from Wesker.
Wesker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Wesker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.
Wesker throws a right and a left that both miss. Wesker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie. Wesker cracks Gracie with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Wesker scores with a jab to the body. Gracie looks gassed! Wesker cracks Gracie with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gracie looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Wesker finish him?
Wesker misses with a double jab.
Gracie shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Wesker connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Gracie to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Wesker!

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Rich Anderson! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mortimer scores with a nice strike. Anderson shoots in but Mortimer avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mortimer throws a nice inside leg kick. Anderson looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mortimer throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Mortimer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mortimer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Anderson sprawling to the canvas! Anderson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mortimer finish him?!
It looks like Rich Anderson has been cut. Mortimer lands a big uppercut and Anderson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Anderson looks OK. Mortimer waves Anderson back to his feet! Mortimer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Mortimer lands a big right hand that sends Anderson crashing to the mat! Mortimer stays standing though and waves Anderson back to his feet!
Anderson is rocked! Mortimer thuds a left hand into Anderson's body. Tony Mortimer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mortimer fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Anderson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Anderson looks to clinch but Mortimer throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Anderson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silvers shoots in for a takedown but Theodosi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Silvers bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Silvers tries a head kick but it misses.
Theodosi works over Silvers's head and body with a nice combination.

Rikki Theodosi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Danga de danga de dang - Theodosi scores with a four punch combination! Silvers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Silvers tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Silvers gets the takedown into side control. Theodosi is pushing Silvers's head away, looking to escape. Silvers manages to hold on to the position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silvers thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Theodosi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Silvers asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silvers working the strikes but Theodosi uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Silvers seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Silvers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Silvers missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Theodosi looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Theodosi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Silvers. Silvers takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Silvers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Theodosi is staying active underneath Silvers, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Theodosi pushes Silvers off looking to stand but Silvers dives back in and keeps control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Theodosi throws a hook but Silvers blocks it. Silvers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silvers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. The fighters circling - Theodosi throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Silvers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Theodosi swivels and escapes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silvers moves out of range as Theodosi strikes. Silvers steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Theodosi. Rikki Theodosi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silvers takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Silvers bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Silvers tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Silvers throwing strikes but Theodosi manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Theodosi wants to stand but Silvers is controlling his arm. Silvers gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Theodosi tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Theodosi looks to get to his feet but Silvers has hold of an arm. He's persisting with trying to stand up and Silvers certainly isn't letting go of the arm! Silvers seems to be the aggressor now - he's rolled into the armbar and extended it - Theodosi is clearly in a lot of pain. He's tapping! He's tapping! What an ending! One minute you're in a dominant position, the next you've got a notch in the loss column - that's why we all love this sport!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones dives in and grabs Anton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anton pushes down on Jones's head and hops out. Anton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Anton clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage. Anton stalls. Anton breaks the clinch.
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Anton moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Anton as he avoids it easily. Peter Anton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Jones. Anton feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf. Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Jones connects with a couple of short punches. Anton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones throwing strikes from guard but Anton blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anton keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones stops Anton from standing up. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Anton is retaining full guard. Jones makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Anton is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Anton leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Peter Anton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Jones. Anton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage. Peter Anton is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jones drags the fight down to the ground.
Anton is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Anton is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard. Jones stops Anton from getting back to his feet.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Anton keeps working. Jones lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Jones thows a huge punch but Anton dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anton avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jones. Anton is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jones scores with a couple of nice shots. Anton is trying to stand back up but Jones is controlling him
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jones shoots for a takedown but Anton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Anton throws a one two combo.
Jones fails to land the takedown. Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Peter Anton is winning the standup battle so far. Jones blocks a head kick by Anton.
Jones dives in and grabs Anton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anton pushes down on Jones's head and hops out. Anton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jones tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Anton throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. Anton pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch. Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Anton smiles and moves away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones. Phil Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Anton clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage. Jones jumps guard but Anton stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bonds looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Harrison tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Harrison has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Harrison tries to move to mount but Bonds blocks the move with his legs. Harrison wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bonds, who protects the arm well. Harrison tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Bonds is refusing to be controlled, as Harrison sits in half guard. Harrison content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Bonds wants to get back to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brennan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Finn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Finn drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Finn seems to have locked his on tight now - Brennan screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Finn, as he picks up the win!

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Smith! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ming Chang misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ming Chang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ming Chang wants it to stay on the feet. Ming Chang comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Ming Chang decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ming Chang trying to mount his opponent but Smith defends it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ming Chang is keen to just control but Smith is a slippery customer. Smith has hold of Ming Chang's hands but Ming Chang slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ming Chang trying to pass the guard but Smith defending well. Ming Chang perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Ming Chang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Smith is just riding it out for now. Ming Chang eventually gives up the hold. Smith is not content to let Ming Chang control the position.

Smith wants to hold on but Ming Chang pushes him away. Smith is squirming around, avoiding Ming Chang's attempts to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith tries to reverse the position but Ming Chang maintains control. Smith gets back to half guard. Ming Chang trying to pass the guard but Smith defending well. Ming Chang is keen to just control but Smith is a slippery customer. Smith wants to improve his position but Ming Chang is controlling well.

Marker darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Chow takes a shot right to the bread basket. Marker slips a straight right by Chow. A jab from Chow misses. Marker tries to bum rush Chow with a series of wild strikes but Chow uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Chow thows a body shot but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chow swings away with a body shot that misses
and Marker counters with a left to the body. Chow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marker sprawls well. Marker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chow gets slowly back to his feet. Marker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Raymond Chow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chow scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
