Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pellinore Listenoise (ranked 4062 p4p, 5109 weight class) and Bon Gamin (ranked 476 p4p, 555 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bon Gamin!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamin misses with a hook. Listenoise ducked under it nicely.
Listenoise lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gamin circles away quickly and effectively.
Gamin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Listenoise changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gamin tries to avoid it but Listenoise manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gamin to the ground. Gamin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pellinore Listenoise seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Listenoise fails in his attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Listenoise looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gamin throws out a loose jab but Listenoise uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gamin lands a head shot.
It looks like Pellinore Listenoise has been cut.

Gamin drops Listenoise with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Listenoise looks back up at him and smiles so Gamin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Listenoise is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gamin is stalking Listenoise. Listenoise circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Gamin, and it's lights out! Listenoise really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parisyen lands a really nice looking cross but Arthur seems unphased.

Arthur shoots in and bounces Parisyen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Arthur missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Arthur postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Arthur passes Parisyen's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Parisyen won't allow Arthur to pass to mount.
Arthur missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Arthur is trying to control the action in half guard but Parisyen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Arthur throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Parisyen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Arthur on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Arthur is working for a kimura but Parisyen is defending it quite comfortably.
Parisyen is looking for a sweep. Arthur is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Arthur working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Parisyen wants to control but Arthur is keeping busy.
Arthur thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Parisyen's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parisyen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Arthur wants to control but Parisyen is keeping him busy.
Arthur passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Parisyen!
Arthur throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Arthur has hold of Parisyen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Parisyen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Arthur punching from mount but Parisyen doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Arthur throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Arthur working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Parisyen turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Arthur off and cradles Parisyen's limp body as Arthur celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Brenin Arthur!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A short uppercut from Madison.
It looks like Valja Se Po Podu has been cut.

Madison breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Po Podu manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Madison on his heels. He'll look to pass Madison's guard now, I'm sure.
Madison wants to sweep but no luck.
Madison is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Po Podu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Madison has his hands on Po Podu's head, controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Po Podu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Madison swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Po Podu pushes down on Madison's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Po Podu moves into full mount! Madison won't be happy about that!

Po Podu working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Madison looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Po Podu! Submission of the night perhaps?

Holy doesn't manage to clinch there - Greene circles away.

Holy pushes Greene up against the cage in a clinch.

Holy decides to pull guard.
Holy pulls Greene in close to prevent any damage.
Greene trying to control the position from guard on top but Holy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Greene looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Holy is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Greene frees his head nicely. Oh but Holy has switched to an armbar! Greene is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
