The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Greene misses the target.

Hall clinches.
Greene tries to break free but Hall pushes him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Hall to work.
Greene blocks an uppercut.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Hall tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Greene smiles and moves away.
Greene rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Hall counters with a single leg into guard. Greene didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall controlling from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hall is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Greene's shoulder. That is not cool.
Greene stops Hall from passing to mount.
Hall is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Greene has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Hall tries to advance to mount but can't.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Hall wants to control but Greene is keeping him busy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Greene is looking for a sweep.

After the fight, Richard Hall was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Cracker throws a body shot but no joy.
Cracker tries to clinch up but Huust circles away and keeps his distance.

Huust lands with a nice combination. Cracker backs away looking to recover.
Huust scores with a nice head shot.
Cracker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Cracker walks into a stiff left hand from Huust.
Cracker tries to clinch up but Huust circles away and keeps his distance.
Cracker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Huust was well out of range. Poor timing from Cracker.
Cracker tries to close the distance and clinch but Huust swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Huust misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Huust keeps the fight on the outside.
Huust throws out a counter right but Cracker avoids it with no problem.
Cracker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Huust paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cracker moves in looking to clinch but Huust pushes him off.
Huust keeps the fight on the outside.
Some bone on bone action there as Cracker checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cracker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Huust defends well.
Huust trying to control the position from guard on top but Cracker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Cracker has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Huust should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Cracker has tightened it up now! Huust should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

and Houle counters with a nice right hand that sends Crawford toppling to the canvas! Crawford scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Houle finish him?!

It looks like Zac Crawford has been cut.

Crawford closes the distance and clinches.
Oh Crawford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crawford trying to control the position but instead, Houle has worked for underhooks and has pushed Crawford into the cage.
Houle blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Houle drops Crawford onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Crawford is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Marie Pier Houle tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Erminus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rantang Gustus will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gustus stalling away here and it's allowed Erminus to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brolin looks to land a combination but Thorne avoids it well.
Brolin throws a hook but Thorne avoids it easily.
Josh Brolin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

letting Thorne counter with a right hand.
Brolin's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Brolin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Thorne moves out of range of the strikes.
Thorne definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Thorne keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brolin.
Thorne swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Thorne blocks a head kick by Brolin.
Brolin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thorne makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Thorne cracks Brolin with a good jab.
Thorne slips a straight right by Brolin.
Thorne fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Thorne cracks Brolin with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Brolin tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Thorne pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Brolin is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kip Thorne!
During a confident post fight interview, Kip Thorne thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Gilbert is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hall is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Hall gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Hall just leaning against Gilbert , taking a breather.
Hall is pushing Gilbert up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Gilbert gets tackled into the cage by Hall. Hall maintains the clinch.

Gilbert is sitting in close to Hall's body. Hall has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gilbert is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gilbert is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hall.
