Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kodiyak Redd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nightey Knights! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knights lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Knights comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Knights takes a swing at Redd's ribcage but misses. Knights connects with the punch. Redd shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Knights is trying to control the position but Redd postures up. Redd definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Knights keeping moving, preventing Redd from controlling successfully. Knights is controlling Redd's posture. Redd trying to control the position from guard on top but Knights is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Knights is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Knights is continuing to stall. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Knights can do anything to dispel that myth. Redd wants to control from the top but Knights keeps moving. Knights wants to sweep here but Redd controlling him for the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Redd steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Knights. Knights scores with a jab to the body. Redd scores with a takedown into Knights's guard. Knights pulls Redd in close to prevent any damage. Redd wants to control from the top but Knights keeps moving. Knights pulls Redd in close to prevent any damage. That's three minutes gone in the round. Redd is working Knights over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Knights is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Knights is pulling down on Redd's head. It's preventing any offense from Redd, at least for the moment. Redd stopping the sweep attempt from Knights. Redd loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Knights is pulling down on Redd's head to control his posture. Redd slips a nice elbow through Knights's hands, connecting with Knights's forehead. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kodiyak Redd will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! Knights defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Redd. It seemed like Knights was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Redd scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We've been informed that Knights has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Knights manages to get to full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Knights holds on and takes a little breather. Knights is trying to control the position but Redd postures up. Knights is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Knights looking to hit a scissor sweep but Redd is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Knights pulls Redd in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Knights scores with a body shot.

Knights scores with a sloppy right hand. Redd should have avoided that one. Knights lands a jab to Redd's midsection. No luck for Redd with that takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Knights lands a slapping body shot.
Knights is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Redd rather than just go for the knockout. Nice shot lands for Knights. Knights misses with a hook. Redd is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
