The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yabai misses with an uppercut
and Kekman counters with a left and a right that stings Yabai.
Yabai connects with a crisp jab.
Yabai misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kekman.
Kekman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yabai.
Yabai throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kekman tries to clinch up
and Yabai counters with a nice uppercut.

Yabai let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Yabai counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Kekman down! Yabai is looking to finish but Kekman is intelligently defending himself.

Yabai postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Oh Kekman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yabai lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Kekman wants to stand up but Yabai is controlling him.
Yabai passes Kekman's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Yabai takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Yabai drops an elbow to the side of Kekman's head.

Yabai wants to work for an arm triangle but Kekman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kekman is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Yabai scores with a couple of nice shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yabai lands a big elbow - Kekman is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Yabai!

Bogo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bogo taps out! Nice BJJ there by Silva!

Cortez has been working on his boxing with his coaches at kill or be killed F boring Fights in the buildup to the fight.
Cortez walks into a stiff left hand from Kuomanen.
It looks like Don Cortez has been cut.
Kuomanen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cortez was well out of range. Poor timing from Kuomanen.
