I think Eyricus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eat You by Limp Bizkit. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

north throws a nice looking combination but Eyricus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

north shoots in and bounces Eyricus off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

north got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eyricus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, north has managed to get both his arms back between Eyricus's legs - danger averted.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

north is working Eyricus over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

north is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Eyricus off. It looks like it's working - Eyricus slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! north displaying calm under pressure there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
