Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bledge Stevenson (ranked 22734 p4p, 23526 weight class) and Braden Moore (ranked 590 p4p, 565 weight class). Stevenson's entrance music is Get The F Off My Lawn. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Braden Moore was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bledge Stevenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Braden Moore! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore scores with a takedown into Stevenson's guard. Stevenson is wriggling around but Moore manages to pass to half guard.
Moore stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Moore looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Moore works his foot free and advances to mount. Stevenson is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore controlling his opponent. Stevenson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Moore locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Stevenson is forced to tap!

With a record of 6 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joey Chandler! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tight shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Chandler counters with a straight right hand. Chandler leaves Tight with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tight shoots in for a double leg but Chandler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sleep Tight . That's going to take a lot out of him. Tight keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chandler. Tight shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chandler but Chandler pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tight shoots in looking for a takedown. Chandler tries to sprawl out of it but Tight keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chandler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chandler stuffs the takedown. Chandler scores with a punch to the head. Tight looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Tight shoots for a takedown but Chandler saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Chandler. Tight does a little dance to reset his feet. Tight misses with a takedown and Chandler counters with a stiff right hand.

Tight looks for a takedown but Chandler sprawls well. Nice body punch from Chandler. Tight fails with the takedown and Chandler connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Chandler waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tight . Chandler misses with the combination.
Tight changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chandler tries to avoid it but Tight manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chandler to the ground. Chandler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chandler now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Tight tries for a takedown but Chandler circles away easily letting Chandler counter with a right hand. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Chandler!

Tight tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chandler defends well and Tight ends up having to push Chandler into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Tight has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Chandler is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Chandler throws a head punch that misses. Nice body punch from Chandler - that landed with a thud.
Tight tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A short right hand to the side of the head by Chandler. Chandler lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Tight . Tight turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Chandler is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Chandler is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tight 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tight 's back! Chandler scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

Oh Tight is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Chandler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

He's simply no match for Chandler on the ground. Chandler scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Tight is looking for a way out. You can see the frustration on Tight 's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Chandler has his opponent's back but Tight is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Chandler. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tight with a lazy takedown attempt and Tight takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Chandler scores with a body shot.
Sleep Tight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sloppy strikes from Chandler. Those never looked like landing. Tight misses with a takedown attempt and Chandler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tight takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice defenses there by Tight . Tight ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tight with a poor takedown enabling Chandler to counter with a crisp jab. Tight shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chandler defends it nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Joey Chandler dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Chandler digs a good hook to Tight 's body.

Tight does a little dance to reset his feet. Tight displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chandler throws out the jab. Chandler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tight manages to avoid it. Chandler throws a nice looking combination but Tight bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tight shoots in and drives through. Chandler sprawls well. Chandler is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Tight with a body shot. Sleep Tight is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tight fails to land the takedown. It seemed like Chandler was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Chandler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tight sees it coming and avoids it easily. Chandler scores with a jab. A nice side step and Chandler releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Chandler stuffs the takedown attempt from Tight . Tight gets slowly back to his feet. A jab lands there for Chandler. Chandler has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Tight with a lazy takedown attempt and Chandler counters with a nice body shot. Tight is looking to clinch but Chandler is avoiding it.
Tight drives through with a takedown into guard. Tight has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Chandler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tight 's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chandler's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Chandler showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Chandler is in close to Tight 's body, working some short punches and elbows. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chandler postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Chandler slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Chandler working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Tight gets slowly back to his feet. Chandler wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Tight looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tight is defended easily by Chandler. Chandler swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Tight shoots in and drives through. Chandler sprawls well. Chandler appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Sleep Tight has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chandler tests Tight 's chin there with a solid looking shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Joey Chandler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chandler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Carvalho on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carvalho tries to get out of the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Van Cleefe stops Carvalho from standing up. And that is the end of the round. A close round but Lee Van Cleefe will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Van Cleefe swats away the attempt to clinch by Carvalho. Carvalho throws a series of punches but Van Cleefe avoids them all with ease. Van Cleefe closes the distance and pushes Carvalho back into the cage. Van Cleefe lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Carvalho backwards. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Handicks blocks a jab. Calamari throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Calamari throws a jab when Handicks was well out of range. No luck for Calamari with that takedown attempt. Handicks seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Calamari looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Calamari moves forwards but Handicks connects with a nice, crisp jab. Handicks scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Calamari misses with a left hand and Handicks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Handicks lands with a cross. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Calamari looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Calamari will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that's the end of the fight! Valdo Calamari comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Calamari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anstey pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hank closes the distance and clinches up with Anstey, looking for a takedown. Hank pushes Anstey against the cage but Anstey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Anstey is looking for the big counter here. Anstey fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Hank forces Anstey back against the cage and clinches. Anstey has had enough of the clinch but Hank keeps him there for the moment. I was talking to Hank's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Hank tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Anstey avoids it. Hank has clasped his hands together around Anstey's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hank is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anstey is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Leal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Brook! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brook fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leal, pushing him back against the cage. Leal is pressed up against the cage. Brook has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Leal down to the mat. Leal avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Brook tries to close the distance and clinch but Leal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brook throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Leal was covering up waiting for the punch and Brook finishes the takedown easily into guard. Leal keeping full guard, as Brook tries to pass. Brook trying to control the position from guard on top but Leal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Leal on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Leal tries to get out of the position. Brook looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
