The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paa cracks Veainu with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Paa takes a shot right to the bread basket.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Paa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Veainu cracks Paa with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Paa looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Veainu finish him?
It looks like Iso Paa has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Veainu drops Paa with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Paa looks back up at him and smiles so Veainu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Paa in particular looking to stall.

Paa lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Veainu takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Paa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Veainu's guard.
