The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharp ducks under a wild hook from Spirit. Spirit pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Spirit pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Spirit throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Spirit thuds his right hand into Sharp's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Spirit connects with a high kick.
It looks like Billy Sharp has been cut. Sharp avoids a lazy jab quite easily. American Spirit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sharp gets the takedown into side control. The strikes coming from Sharp are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sharp misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Sharp tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Spirit is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sharp has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Spirit is pushing Sharp's head away, looking to escape. Sharp manages to hold on to the position though. Sharp connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Spirit some visible discomfort.
Sharp moves into full mount! Sharp scoring with strikes but Spirit is staying in there. Sharp lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Sharp prevents Spirit from getting the reversal. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sharp cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Spirit is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Poor strikes thrown by Sharp there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sharp throwing strikes but Spirit manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Spirit tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spirit uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Spirit has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Spirit there as he acknowledges the shot. Spirit throws a hook but Sharp blocks it. Sharp is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Spirit connects with a single shot there. Spirit connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sharp momentarily.

Sharp tries to move into range but Spirit moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Sharp takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sharp looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Spirit throws a nice head kick!
Spirit connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Sharp slips a straight right by Spirit. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sharp needs to keep his hands up - Spirit had a free shot at his head there. Sharp is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Spirit. Spirit throws an overhand right that lands on Sharp's shoulder, as Sharp tries to avoid the shot.
And that's the end of the fight! American Spirit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Spirit has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Skwigelf throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Maguire is looking to clinch. A good leg kick by Skwigelf. Skwigelf looks to land a combination but Maguire avoids it well. 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aivan Kamala! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kamala will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Brown scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Aivan Kamala has been cut. Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kamala moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kamala shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Kamala or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown which made him look bad. Mark Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aivan Kamala. Brown throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown throws a series of punches but Kamala moves out of range. Brown throws a right and a left that Kamala avoids nicely. Kamala throws an overhand right that lands on Brown's shoulder, as Brown tries to avoid the shot. Kamala shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kamala shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brown as he avoids it easily. Kamala dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Kamala's head and hops out. A punch combination from Brown misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kamala shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Kamala's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Kamala.
Kamala fails to land the takedown. Brown lands with a nice combination. Kamala backs away looking to recover. Kamala fails with a takedown attempt.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Brown throws a sloppy head kick and Kamala moves out of range easily. Kamala shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense. Brown tries to bum rush Kamala with a series of wild strikes but Kamala uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Brown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kamala closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Kamala pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Brown bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kamala's head backwards.
Kamala is rocked! Brown fails to land with a series of punches.
Kamala is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him? Mark Brown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Brown throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Kamala is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paixao chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The fighters circling - Paixao throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Octavio Paixao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paixao tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bjj paws at him with a jab and circles away. Paixao misses with an uppercut. Bjj saw that one coming. Bjj drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paixao trying to control the position.
Paixao is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Bjj drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Paixao dives on top into guard.

Oh, that's unlucky for Bjj but great work by Paixao. Paixao working away. Bjj manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Octavio Paixao is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bjj trying to hold on to Paixao's head to control him but Paixao postures up.
